According to <a href=\"http:\/\/latimesblogs.latimes.com\/lanow\/2010\/04\/police-sting-involving-rabbit-costume-sparks-criticism-in-glendale.html\">this report<\/a>, police in Glendale conducted a sting operation by having a bunny cross the road and then ticketing anyone who didn&#8217;t yield.  <\/p>\n<p>Maybe the paper was just pulling an April fools hoax?!  Surely they knew that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0042546\/\">6-foot-tall rabbits are invisible<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>At least some of the cops reportedly don&#8217;t know about invisible rabbits or invisible gorillas:  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe reason that we set it in a bunny suit is that\u2019s clearly an obvious, different and unique pedestrian that would be walking across the street,\u201d Montecuollo said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Apparently, they&#8217;ve even done this before:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police conducted a similar sting with a rabbit suit about five years ago, he said.
